Welcome to the PRP Performer Audition Site!

PRP frequently produces events requiring dancers. The dance requirements can range from hip hop to jazz, from young junior casts to professionals, from animators operating large puppets to character costume heads in one of our family shows. The requirements are vast and limitless!

This is where we need you! 

All dancers wishing to be considered for dance casts are required to create a profile and submit a video as PRP will refer to this database for casting purposes.

Below are instructions on how to submit choreography videos for consideration when PRP is casting shows. 

Step 1: Bookmark this webpage for future reference.

Step 2:  Please watch the choreography videos at the bottom of this page.

Step 3: Learn the choreography (we recommend you learn the choreography for both Commercial Dance and Character Dance), and when ready, record yourself following the instructions as outlined in the first video for each style.  Please state the current date, your name and a fun fact or story about yourself at the top of each video. If you have a special skill (i.e. tumbling, aerial, juggling, etc.) that you would like to record, you are welcome to do so. Please add this to the end of the commercial choreography recording.

Step 4: Load your videos onto a web sharing platform (YouTube, Vimeo etc.) and copy or notate the links to your videos.

Step 5:  Using the link you saved in step 1, create a profile on this site. Headshot (png or jpg files only), bio/resume (pdf or docx only) and the measurement fields are mandatory fields to enter. Please let us know if you have any special skills i.e.: tumbling, aerial, juggling etc. in the appropriate field. This is the time to let us know all about your great talents!

Step 6: Insert the links to your audition video(s) into your profile. This is very important as our choreographer will use these videos for casting purposes. IMPORTANT: Please insert the link for your Commercial Dance Audition in the FIRST field. Please insert your Character Dance Audition link in the SECOND field.

Important reminder:  Your created profile is a live profile and you can update your information anytime you like - so don’t forget to keep the link and your password handy!

VIDEOS:

Our PRP Choreographer, Jocelyn Peden, has created the audition videos for both Commercial and Character. Video #1 for each style will include introductions of Jocelyn, instructions on what to include in your video and the choreography without music. Video #2 for each style contains the choreography with music. Please watch both videos. The music and lyrics for your audition recording are also linked below.

Please remember to state your name, the date you recorded the video, and a fun fact or story about yourself at the top of your video.

Please note that you can replace your video anytime you like. Feel free to send us an email at casting@prpconnect.com to let us know you have replaced it especially if a lot of time has passed since your last video. We want your video to represent your current calibre!
