We are hiring Field Cast for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. This is a chance to step onto the field and be part of a show in front of a national audience on one of the biggest nights in baseball.
What the Role Involves
We have multiple Field Cast roles available. You'll be considered for the role that best fits your experience and what the show needs.
This is a disciplined role that takes focus, timing, and commitment. It is not a dancing role. You'll perform structured movement, formations, and blocking on the field as part of the larger production, working with flags, fabric, and visual elements depending on the role you're cast in.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding, outdoor role performed in summer conditions. You should be comfortable with:
- Standing and moving across the field for extended periods
- Learning and executing movement and formation directions
- Performing on timing cues as part of a large ensemble
- Working in close proximity to other performers for extended periods
- Moving quickly across the field and working under time pressure
- Being outdoors in July heat for the length of rehearsals and the show
- Wearing provided wardrobe and performing in it for extended periods
Wardrobe will be provided. You'll wear it as directed during rehearsals and the show.
Preferred Experience:
- Marching arts background (marching band, color guard, drumline, drum corps, or drill team)
- Dance, cheer, gymnastics, or other live-performance or entertainment experience
- Understanding of stage directions and spatial awareness as part of an ensemble
- Experience performing precise movements in sync with a group
No prior performance experience is required, but all physical requirements must be met with or without reasonable accommodation, and full commitment to the rehearsal and show schedule is mandatory.
The Schedule
Field Cast must be available for all planned rehearsals and the show. All dates take place in Philadelphia. This is a local role, and travel, lodging, and accommodations are not provided. Call times vary by role and are subject to change.
Planned Field Cast Schedule:
- THU JULY 9 — On-field rehearsal
- SAT JULY 11 — On-field rehearsal
- TUE JULY 14 — All-Star Game, show day
Backup dates: FRI JULY 10 and SUN JULY 12 are held as backup rehearsal days. You may be called for these only if needed for weather, attrition, or production reasons. Please keep them open.
Pay and Requirements
This is a paid, temporary position. The hourly rate is $14.75. Meals are provided on work days.
All applicants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Be able to perform all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Be available for all planned dates, and for the backup dates if called
- Be local to the Philadelphia area, or able to get to and from the venue on your own for all dates
Confirmed availability is mandatory. Background screening will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment is made.

Field Cast won't receive a separate ticket to the game.
