Thank you for your interest in participating in the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show starring Kendrick Lamar!

To get started with your application, please read all the information below and be sure you can commit to the time involved for each rehearsal date. Rehearsals will all take place within the 2 exciting weeks leading up to Super Bowl Sunday!


Unfortunately, this is NOT a dancing position. This IS a paid engagement for fans of Kendrick Lamar who want to be part of a televised event that is traditionally viewed by over 120 million people World-wide! If you are 18 years of age or older we will accept your submission, and it must be received by January 29, 2025 at 11:59PM CT. But, simply submitting your information and does not guarantee participation. All submissions will be reviewed first.


Here is what we need from you-

ALL PARTICIPANTS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age by January 27th, 2025.
  • Are aware that this is NOT a dancing position.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be submit to a pre-hire background check.
  • Must sign and adhere to a very strict pre-hire confidentiality agreement.
  • Participants MUST NOT be professional performers or a member of SAG-AFTRA or any other professional dance union or organization. Participant has no prior employment as a performer in the entertainment industry within the past three years.
  • Participants must provide their own transportation; parking will be provided.
  • Must be in good physical health and capable of rigorous activity, including running on and off the field as directed.
  • Must be available for all scheduled rehearsals and for the show on Super Bowl Sunday.
  • Must identify as an African American.

Here is what you need to know from us-

NOTES:

  • This is a paid position at the rate of $12.00 per hour.
  • Travel and accommodations are NOT provided or reimbursed.
  • On Super Bowl Sunday, participants will report to an off-site location and be transported to the stadium.
  • Government-issued photo ID is required for admittance to rehearsals and the Show.

REHEARSALS:

A minimum of seven rehearsals will be held at a location within proximity to Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA. Absence or lateness for any rehearsal may result in removal from the Show. Please ensure full availability for all posted rehearsal dates leading up to Super Bowl Sunday. All rehearsals are mandatory.

TENTATIVE Rehearsal Timeline (subject to change):

Rehearsals will take place between Monday, January 27th and Saturday, February 8th. Specific locations will be communicated after selection.

Show Day: Super Bowl Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Caesars Superdome, New Orleans, LA

CAST RULES:

  • No alcohol or drugs.
  • No foul language, fighting, or weapons.
  • No smoking.
  • Conduct yourself responsibly and follow field leader instructions.
  • Breaking any rules may result in immediate dismissal.

WHEN YOU APPLY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE:

  • This is not a dancing position.
  • You are 18 years of age or older and identify as an African American.
  • This is a paid engagement.
  • You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • You are available for all rehearsals.
  • You will sign the confidentiality agreement.
  • You will submit to a pre-hire background check.
